So today is going to be the last day of freedom. No homework, no worries, right? WRONG AGAIN! I forgot I have a scholarship to pick up at the Erikson Alumni Center @ like 3:30. Then it just goes downhill from there. Classes are going to start all over and this semester it is going to SUCK. I don't want to have to get up at the butt-crack o' dawn for my class :(. It just isn't fun. I'm ready to start I guess, I just don't like the effort I have to put forth this semester just to keep my hindquarters afloat. I guess it all comes down to a matter of getting it done with so I don't have to worry about it later. I'm also a tad bit worried about this loan. My interest check came in the mail earlier this week and it said that the interest this month was 300 dollars and something. AHHHHHHHH that's insane! I'm thinking about just sending the rest of the money back and just trying to work and stuff...... that way it will at least pay for the majority of it. I just hope that I am not in over my head. I am.... I'm in debt up to my eyeballs. Oh well, enough of the, "feel sorry for me" shpeel. I don't like being the Debby Downer of the bunch but wah wah wahhhhhh. Well, that's all for now. I'm not very opinionated at the moment. So yeah, later all. PEACE!

This ones for you Casie.

I have decided to fulfill my duties as a blogger and write about the past week. Last week, I went on a camping trip with Casie, John, Isaiah, Brandon, Woody, Samantha, and Alex. It was pretty much one of the best times I have ever had considering I didn't do anything like ALLLLL summer. We got there in the evening on Tuesday and pitched our tents. Woody showed up about an hour later than everyone else but whatev right? After they were pitched, we built a fire and began to cook up some awesome stew. During the middle of it, I decided to go take a shower cause I thought it would be refreshing. It was. Once everyone had eaten the best stew in the WORLD, we took a walk to the overlook. It was absolutely breathtaking. The view was absolutely amazing and everyone really began to bond at this point. We were there for probably about an hour or so when the moon began to come up over the horizon at an incredible pace. I mean, this was like insane. I have never seen anything like it personally. Isaiah and I took a video of it on my camera but unfortunately I had to delete because it took too much memory :(. Sorry Izzy. The sunset was radiant; with all the purples, pinks, reds, blues, and every other color that was mixed up in the clouds. I mean, this was spectacular. Again I say, I have never seen anything like it. I just wish we could have stayed there and camped but you, the rangers would probably have poached us or something to that extent. There we go... there's the sunset. That night we sat around the fire and had some talk time... sorta. Casie and John went to bed early, while the rest of us, minus Woody went to the overlook again. We were making stupid poses with the scopes because they looked like faces. When we got back, we pretty much just stood around for a while before actually turning in as well. Day Two: It's early morning when Woody hears the sound of the lawn mower. It wakes him. Then the rest of us wake to, "WHO THE FUCK IS RUNNING A LAWN MOWER AT 7:30 IN THE MORNING!#%@#$!" Yeah, I was asleep until that point. Once we are all up and showered, we decide to go the falls and breathe in some of that fresh misty air. It was awesome as well. Not long after that we all go to Bald Knob and do this CRAZY hike that was like straight uphill. See, this isn't very easy for a fat kid to climb so I admit I had my difficulties. However, the end was sweet enough that I would have done it again. Some of us went over to the other side too while the others went on down. We picked up some awesome firewood on the way :) Anyway, that night we sat around and played truth or dare. That game can get people into some serious trouble, but this time it was just basically a game of, "Tell Me A Little About Yourself." That's fine. Skip to later that night. Woody and I go for a walk to the overlook and we start to walk back when it pours the rain. We get to the campsite and decide that we will just sleep in his car instead of climbing over everyone and waking them up. My shorts are really wet so he gives me a pair of his. Next morning. I wake up and John and Brandon are outside trying to clean up the campsite a smigde. Everyone gets up and discover that I'm not wearing my own pants..... yeah that took some explaining but I think everyone caught the drift. We DID NOT do anything. I swear. So yeah, the week was a blast overall. I had a lot of fun getting to know people and I'm glad that I have made some more friends out in the woods. Even if I did look like I was in the wrong place with my suitecase :)

Hurray!

So lately I haven't written in anything. So I guess it is time to update on life. Casie has gone and come back from camp already so I take it I haven't really written in almost five weeks or so. Summer has been long and tedious these past couple weeks. It really didn't start going until the week my brother left for camp. Sure, I was alone but I hung out with some people and actually started to have fun. Shannon came back from GHA and Josh from camp so everything is back to normal in the Veyon household. However, I won't deny that I did like being an only child for a while. I always wondered what it would be like. Well, now I know, and it was freakin awesome. School is going to be starting again here very very soon and I'm pretty excited about it. Oh, I was the band instructor for the brass during band camp and sectionals. That was different, being in charge but still having a good time. I got paid, not as much as the other two for some odd reason, but 350 ain't bad. Yesterday I went to lunch with Shannon and Lezlie. We had a good time just chillin, talking, and looking for yard sales lol. Yeah, yard sales. Then that afternoon Casie and I went to baristas and just chilled. It was awesome again. I love going there just to chill. We talked about what all we did while she was at camp and I listened to some of her camp stories, which were pretty funny. "SAVE THE BEER!" Yeah, you know how it goes.
It's odd really. Why do people get so protective of their alcohol once thoroughly intoxicated or getting to be that way? I mean, it's not like they won't be able to get more. Heaven forbid someone take a drink of a beer that was already taken by someone else!!!!!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lol
